The MGDF is not just about providing Orientation & Mobility training and guide dogs to clients. The Foundation follows each client throughout the guide dog’s expected working life of around 10 years and also supports the clients through continuing training and reinforcement to ensure the guide dogs remain focused on their mission.

Gift in will

Although the cost of a guide dog may sound prohibitive, every little bit can help. Leaving the MGDF as the beneficiary of a gift in your will ensures that the blind and visually impaired can lead a normal life thanks to your support.

Corporate partnerships

Representatives of the MGDF can visit our corporate partner offices to make your staff aware of the great contribution of guide dogs to the lives of their clients, how they should behave when they meet a person with a guide dog and the process of training a guide dog.
