The Malta Guide Dog Foundation relies on donations and sponsorships so as to provide its services free of charge to blind and visually impaired persons. We are truly grateful to all those who give donates and to our sponsors, some of whom wish to remain anonymous. The major sponsor of the foundation is the Sovereign Military Order of Malta (SMOM), who have a multi-year agreement to cover travel expenses of puppies and newly trained guide dogs and the medical expenses of all the guide dogs in Malta and Gozo.

Another sponsor of the MGDF has been the Malta Community Chest Fund, while Borg Cardona & Co. Ltd provide nutritional consultancy to all the guide dogs, apart from supplying food to all puppies that are being raised before they travel abroad for training as guide dogs. The Qormi Vets Clinic provides veterinary services to the guide dogs free of charge.
